Why AMI
Kappers
chose Artica.
AMI Kappers, the Dutch chain of hairdressing salons, wanted a recruitment campaign and thought our creativity from the Netherlands would make the cut! Junior stylists, hair stylists and franchise entrepreneurs… we figured out the best way to reach them.
Concept
Thinking about a job in the hairdressing world? Then you should think ‘AMI Kappers’. That became the goal. We divided the concept into three elements: familiarity (top-of-mind awareness), experience domain (of the target audience) and understandability (knowing what skills are involved). We emphasized the feeling of familiarity, what you could get from AMI Kappers, and what skills it concerns. And then we packaged it all with a fresh, contemporary look!
Website
You don’t post more than 200 vacancies on a puny, little website. We built one to size, where there is also enough room to tell personal stories. Because there are plenty of those.
Social media
Where do you reach a young target audience? You don't have to be a creative agency to know the answer to that, but you do need to be one who knows how to approach it… and that’s precisely what we did. TikToks, reels, stories and Insta posts – we did it all. And all with the three elements: familiarity, experience domain and understandability.
Online marketing
But we didn’t stop with TikTok and Instagram. We also made ourselves heard on Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat and other relevant websites. With razor-sharp ads.
And we didn’t ignore the offline avenues: promotional folders, roll-up banners, bags, and exhibition stands. We did that too – ideal for ‘career information days’ at schools.
