Why Grolsch chose Artica.
Branding and design throughout the Netherlands and beyond for an iconic beer brewery. It went far beyond their distinctive flip-top beer bottle. Our below-the-line marketing put Grolsch in the right position – on the shelf, on the table, at the bar, and throughout the rest of the hospitality industry. Did you know that we developed and produced their entire Brewery Tour? There was a lot behind the scenes that came from our creativity from the Netherlands.
Countdown
400 years of Grolsch. You don’t just celebrate that with a cake and some streamers. We developed a great ‘countdown clock’ and put it on the façade of the Grolsch factory in Enschede. Together with the entire region, we counted down to 11 May 2015 at 16.15, the precise moment when Grolsch founder Willem Neerfeld opened his Grolsche Beer Brewery on the Kevelderstraat in Groenlo 400 years ago.
Brewery Tour
You can certainly create a tour from more than 400 years of stories. So let’s do it! In 2007, we developed the Grolsch Brewery Tour, and we’ve been letting our creativity loose on it ever since.
Interactive brewer
Grolsch likes to give personal advice to each beer enthusiast selecting their beers. Not even we – with all our creativity from the Netherlands – can do all that. Except… meet the interactive brewer! This is an interactive display in which Marc the Master Brewer tells you about the beer, its taste and other items on offer. What do you have to do? Simply scan your product and pay. Cheers!
Packaging
Water, grain, hops, yeast, and alcohol. Almost all the ingredients you need for good beer. Almost. Just as important for the ultimate experience is having distinctive packaging. A suitable duo-box for the iconic brown flip-top bottles, the various temporary beers for tastings, and a champagne beer for an exclusive New Year’s Eve celebration? Just leave it to us. Packaging to pop those corks!
POS material
Advertisements, banners, displays, leaflets, tap tickets, shelf strips, coupons, posters, stickers and panels. We do it all!
Human cannonball
Imagine that, during dinner, you talked about your day at work – about a project involving a human cannonball on the Zwarte Cross, in which a stuntman is launched from a giant flip-top bottle to a distance of 60 metres and 30 metres high in the air. Wouldn’t you say that was a pretty cool job?
CSR route
You may not be able to taste it, but it makes a difference: Grolsch follows the principles of corporate social responsibility in the brewing of its beer. We tell you all about it, in words and pictures.
Employer branding
In addition to brewing great beer, Grolsch employs many great people … and Grolsch wants to keep it that way. In 2018, we launched the employer branding campaign ‘REAL CHARACTER’. This included close-up portraits of their employees. People in their purest form. What is the character of Grolsch? You can see it through the eyes of the people who work there.
